Penny Sue Bickham Willing, 63, of North Judson, IN passed away at her residence in North Judson, IN on Sunday, July 9, 2023 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She was born on February 28, 1960 in Hammond, IN to the late Clifford and Jacqueline Hart Bickham.
Penny was formerly of Rochester and Winamac. She was an RN and had worked at Pulaski Memorial Hospital and at St. Joseph Hospital in Plymouth, IN.
Penny was a member of the Church of the Heartland in Rochester, IN. She was deeply committed to her faith in God which helped her through tough times.
Penny enjoyed playing the guitar and singing with her friends and at church. She enjoyed caring for family, friends and her patients. Penny was an artist who enjoyed painting. She enjoyed decorating her homes. She would buy homes, rehab them and flip them. She also enjoyed working in her yard.
Penny cared deeply for those in need and was free with whatever help she could give them. Penny was the “Community Mom” welcoming all in the neighborhood.
Friends and former patients will remember her caring counsel and special attention.
Penny enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon CDT/1 PM EDT on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the Church of the Heartland in Winamac, IN.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
