Robert L. Bartgen, age 72, of Knox, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Robert was born October 23, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to Raymond Bartgen Sr. and Violet Cerney Bartgen, both deceased.
He had owned and operated Bob’s Paperback Exchange in Plymouth for many years. He loved reading, collecting comic books, stage and theatre, cooking and playing cards. He especially loved spending time with his dog, Lucky. He is survived by a sister, Judith Schuler of Carlsbad, California, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Fuka, and two brothers, Raymond Bartgen Jr. and Richard Bartgen.
A funeral service will take place Friday, June 11, 2021 at 2pm, with visitation one hour prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home.
