Worlie Chaffins, 90 of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 in Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was born December 22, 1932 to Estill and Nancy Chaffins in Rockfork, Kentucky.
Worlie married Mildred Kozecar on December 22, 1951. She preceded him in death on January 2, 1999. Worlie is survived by his four sons: Roger Sr (Katherine) of North Judson, IN, Russell (Debbie) of Roane County, TN, Michael (Brenda) of Knoxville, TN and Craig (Mandy) of Morristown, TN.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Rachelle (Jeff) Back of North Judson, IN, Brad (Amy) Chaffins of Knox, IN, Jessica (Marty) Martinez of Tampa, Florida, Roger Jr (Sarah) Chaffins of San Pierre, IN, Brandon (Rebekah) Chaffins of Knoxville , TN, Aubrey (Sarah) Chaffins of Knoxville, TN, Nick Chaffins of Morristown, TN and Elijah Chaffins of Morristown, TN. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Worlie is also survived by two sisters: Maxine Fivecoate of Logansport, IN, and Sue Duncan of Rochester, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and several siblings: Wed Chaffins, Elliot Chaffins, Anzie Vermilyer, Lou Pinson, Georgie Mercer, Bettie Trent, and Olena Justice

Funeral services will be Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. CT at the O’Donnell Funeral Home in North Judson. Family and friends can gather for a visitation Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT at the O’Donnell Funeral Home.
