Zella Jo Pratt, age 77, of Knox, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. Zella was born June 13, 1945 in Lowell, Indiana to Joseph F. Searle and Zella M. (Taylor) Searle, both deceased.
She enjoyed attending church, had very strong faith and was known to be a prayer warrior. She loved interior decorating and spending time with her family and loved celebrating birthdays and holidays together. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all that knew her. On May 25, 1963 she married Stuart Pratt, he survives. She is also survived by her children, Noelle E. Utley (James Jr.) of Porter, Indiana and Benjamin S. Pratt (Catalina) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a sister, Marilyn Sundeen of Crown Point, Indiana, and her grandchildren, Trevor Utley and Aidan, Isabella and Oliver Pratt. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Smith and a brother, David Searle.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at 1pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at the Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox. Memorials may be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc., 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201-0001.
