Police Reports are simply a record that an arrest has been made and are not an indication of guilt or innocence.

From the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department:

Incidents

8/17/11 – A caller from Denham advised that his home had been broken into recently. He reported his son’s guitar missing and said curtains were pulled off the windows and items were disturbed.

8/18/11 – A caller reported someone had backed in to his daughter’s car and took off.

8/18/11 – A resident of Winamac called to report a possible meth lab.

8/18/11 – A caller from Winamac reported his step-daughter was living with a female who is selling meth and other drugs from her apartment.

8/18/11 – A resident of Franklin Township called and reported his medication was stolen from his vehicle.

8/20/11 – A caller from Cass Township told police that a man was shooting out of his vehicle as he drove up and down the road that morning. She came home that afternoon and was unable to find her dog and she believes he shot it.

8/22/11 – A resident of Medaryville called and reported the back window of his Monte Carlo was broken out.

8/23/11 – A resident of Winamac reported a drive-off occurred.

8/23/11 – A resident of Winamac called to report that someone had stolen a carton of cigars and requested an officer to help identify the suspect.

8/23/11 – A resident of Winamac informed police that she knows three individuals that are making and using meth.

8/23/11 – A resident of Winamac asked if an officer could meet him at his business to review video of a shoplifter.

Arrests

8/15/11 – Kanyon Whitrock, 31, 413 Madison Street, Medaryville: Warrant from Porter County. Released 8/16

8/16/11 – Nicholas Chambers, 23, 830 ½ N Hathaway Street, Winamac: Domestic battery. Discharged 8/22.

8/19/11 – Travis Holbrook, 19, 14836 West 400 North, Medaryville: Three counts of Theft. Released 8/22.

8/19/11 – Nicholas Twellman, 18, 715 Hathaway Street, Winamac: Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury. Released 8/22.

8/20/11 – Eddie D. Lamb, 35, 431 North Monticello Street, Winamac: Public Intoxication. Released 8/23

8/20/11 – Tracy Vanwienen, 33, 3132 Brunswick Court South, Lafayette: Driving while Suspended. Released 8/20

8/20/11 – John M. Chmielewski, 46, 4581 North 250 West, Winamac: Disorderly Conduct. Released 8/21

8/21/11 – Jesse James Bulington-Miller, 22, 1987 West 825 South, Winamac: Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon.

Incidents:

08/15/11 – Michelle Myers from North Judson informed police that her mailbox was destroyed sometime last night with several different kinds of items inside the mailbox.

08/15/11 – A resident of the 7500 block of West 800 South in North Judson requested to speak to an officer regarding his mailbox being vandalized.

08/15/11 – A resident of the 3500 block of South 750 East in Knox reported her credit card was stolen.

08/16/11 – A resident of the 7800 block of North Ind. 23 in Koontz Lake requested an officer because her front window had possibly been shot by a pellet gun.

08/16/11 – A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North 700 East in Knox.

08/16/11 – Jody Auer of Walkerton told police her vehicle had been egged.

08/17/11 – A resident of the 11600 block of East Toto Road in Knox reported someone had put an explosive device in her mailbox the night before. She had heard a loud bang around midnight and noticed the next morning that her mailbox had been blown up.

08/17/11 – A resident of the 3700 block of South C.R. 210 in Knox reported someone had broken into his garage and tampered with his boat and engine.

08/17/11 – A theft was reported from Bestco Storage in Knox.

08/18/11 – A resident of the 2600 block of West Toto Road in North Judson reported her cement birdbath had been stolen.

08/18/11 – A resident of the 700 block of North U.S. 35 in Knox reported several items were missing from his property.

08/19/11 – Carolina Worm advised police that someone had broken into her home and stolen her television.

08/21/11 – A Knox resident told police the lock had been broken off his storage unit and items were stolen.

08/21/11 – Cassie Shay of Valparaiso reported her silver Dodge minivan had been stolen near the intersection of Ind. 8 and Ind. 39.

08/21/11 – A resident of the 4100 block of East 200 South in Knox told police someone was possibly breaking into his shed after he found the door open.

08/17/11 – Clarence Norem, 54, North Judson by SCSD: Serious Violent Felon-Possession of Firearm

08/17/11 – Billy Coldiron, 57, North Judson by SCSD: Serious Violent Felon-Possession of Firearm, Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Possession of Chemical Agents of Precursors, Possession of Cocaine or narcotic drug.

08/19/11 – Robert Kartes, 64, Knox by SCSD after a caller advised she could year yelling, screaming, and possibly gunshots coming from a nearby house.

08/21/11 – Frank Solberg, 41, Knox by SCSD following a complaint of someone outside the caller’s home, threatening her.

08/21/11 – Kyle Barone, 20, Walkerton by SCSD following a suspicious vehicle report.

From the North Judson Police Department:

Incidents:

08/09/11 – Carpenter’s Marathon Oil in North Judson reported to Police the theft of $20.00 in gasoline by a silver van that drove off without paying.

08/13/11 – North Judson Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred around 2:00PM a mile east of North Judson on SR #10. No injuries were reported and another vehicle may have been damaged in town by the same suspect. North Judson Chief Deputy Joe Budner is investigating.

08/14/11 – A residence in the 600 block of Cherry Street reported a gun and some coins missing from the residence to Police. No forced entry was found. The case remains under investigation by the North Judson Police Department.

08/15/11 – A vehicle was egged in the 300 block of Franklin Street. And after an investigation three juvenile suspects were identified.

08/17/11 – A property damage accident occurred in the NJ Express parking lot and North Judson Police Chief , Doug Vessely, investigated, setting damages at over $2500. A Chevy Impala being driven by Heather Dolezal, of San Pierre, backed into a trailer being towed by a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was Glenn Hefner of Kouts.

08/19/11 – North Judson Police Officer Bill Scheiderer apprehended 2 males suspects for having stolen items from vehicles in North Judson. Police are continuing the investigation and one 17 year old juvenile was turned over to Starke County Probation and the 18 year old male was charged with theft.

08/19/11 – A minor mishap accident occurred on Keller Avenue, near the post officer around 10:30 AM. A 1994 Toyota being driven by Jeri Chapman, of North Judson, pulled away from the curb and struck a parked 2004 Ford Explorer, owned by Jeanine Randash, also of North Judson. North Judson Police Chief Deputy Joe Budner estimated damages at over $1000.

08/20/11 – An early morning crash in the 300 block of Luken Street had North Judson Police Officer Kelly Fisher arresting James M. Sallee, 24, of North Judson for O.V.W.I. The homeowner’s truck was struck by the Sallee vehicle and damaged. Further details are still being investigated.

08/13/2011 – Gill Knip, 44, San Pierre, arr rested on a Jasper County Warrant.

08/19/2011 – Jeri N. Chapman, 30, 112 Lane Street, North Judson arrested for a Jasper County Warrant.

08/20/2011 – James Michael Sallee, 24, North Judson, arrested for O.V.W.I.

08/17/11 – Ryan Furlano, 19, 1015 West 400 South, Knox, arrested after being found in possession of park property.

08/17/11 – Kristy Norem, 19, 1015 West 400 South, Knox, arrested with Furlano after being found in possession of park property.

08/18/11 – Keith Borton, 44, 614 Washington Street, Walkerton, arrested on a warrant check.

08/20/11 – Robert Wisilinski, 63, 603 South Heaton Street, Knox, arrested for Public Intoxication and Trespassing.

08/20/11 – Angela May, 40, 2885 East 150 South, Knox, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Legend Drug, 5 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Meth Over Three Grams, Public Intoxication, Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

08/20/11 – Samuel Clemons, 45, 304 East St. Louis, Knox, arrested on charges of Possession of  Controlled Substance, Visiting a Common Nuisance.

08/20/11 – Anthony Clemons, 49, 207 West Lake Street, Knox, arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Visiting a Common Nuisance.

08/21/11 – Freeman Tubbs, 26, 3930 West 167th, Country Club Hills, Illinois, arrested for Possession of Marijuana.
