Incidents:
05/04/20 A car vs. deer accident was reported at State Road 10 and U.S. 421 in San Pierre.
05/04/20 A resident advised dispatchers that syringes were found on the side of the road in the area of 100 N. and 700 E. in Knox.
05/04/20 A North Judson resident told police that a dog came onto her property and nearly attacked her child. The dog apparently killed a chick. The dog owner was given a copy of the county’s leash and noise ordinance.
05/04/20 The driver of a rollover accident at 400 N. and 500 E. in Hamlet was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
05/05/20 The Sheriff’s Office was notified of a vehicle in the ditch at 400 N. and U.S. 35 in Knox.
05/06/20 A Knox resident called and said it appeared that someone drove through his yard and other yards in the area and caused damage. A road sign was reportedly downed in the incident, but someone put the sign in the trunk of their car and left.
05/06/20 Police took one suspect in custody in a pursuit incident that began in Monterey following an alleged domestic incident.
05/06/20 A North Judson resident reported the theft of a vehicle.
05/06/20 Firefighters responded to a call of a structure fire at the 10,000 E. block of 500 N. in Grovertown.
05/07/20 A car vs. deer accident was reported at U.S. 35 and Toto Road in Knox.
05/07/20 A North Judson resident told dispatchers that a neighbor caused damage to landscaping on the property due to burning on the neighbor’s property.
05/08/20 A car vs. deer accident was reported on 1100 E. and 600 N. in Grovertown.
05/08/20 An accident was reported on State Road 39 and 800 S. in North Judson where the driver apparently had a medical issue and ran off the road. There was no damage reported.
05/08/20 A burglary was reported at a North Judson home where several items were reportedly taken.
05/09/20 A Walkerton resident reported a stolen license plate.
05/09/20 A Knox resident complained that a four wheeler tore up his hay field.
05/09/20 Firefighters were notified of a large brush fire in the area of 500 E. in Knox.
05/10/20 A rollover accident was reported on Toto Road and 300 E. in Knox. No injures reported.
05/10/20 A North Judson resident reported a lost or stolen cell phone and other items around the house.
