Incidents:
08/10/20 A two vehicle accident was reported at State Road 23 and Francis Street in Grovertown.
08/10/20 A Grovertown resident reported the theft of a wheelchair ramp.
08/12/20 A Walkerton resident reported the theft of a license plate.
08/12/20 Emergency responders were called to an accident where a vehicle reportedly sideswiped a motorcycle in the area of State Road 10 and State Road 39 in North Judson. The motorcycle driver’s hand was bleeding but refused medical treatment.
08/13/20 Firefighters were called to the Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School on a report of smoke and the school was being evacuated. An overheated blower motor on the air conditioner was the issue.
08/13/20 Starke County Sheriff’s deputies and the Hamet Police Department assisted in a pursuit.
08/14/20 A two vehicle accident was reported at 700 E. and 200 N. in Grovertown.
08/14/20 A car vs. deer accident was reported at 1025 E. and Division Road.
08/14/20 A vehicle was found in the ditch on 25 N. and 600 E. in Knox. The driver did not need medial attention.
08/15/20 A car vs. dog accident was reported on State Road 10 and 100 W. in North Judson.
08/15/20 An accident between a vehicle and motorcycle was reported on U.S. 35 and State Road 10 in Knox. Subjects reported injuries.
08/15/20 A car vs. chainsaw accident was reported on U.S. 30 and 900 E. in Grovertown.
08/15/20 A San Pierre resident reported the theft of mail from a mailbox.
08/15/20 A Walkerton resident complained of someone dumping trash onto vacant property that he just purchased. He told police that he does not live there but cleans it up when he can.
08/15/20 A caller complained that people were passed out behind the wheel of car parked at a Koontz Lake business.
08/16/20 A North Judson woman reported the theft of a horse.
08/16/20 A Walkerton resident reported an item stolen from the front porch.
