03/23/21 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of State Road 23 and State Road 8 in Culver.
03/23/21 A North Judson resident told police that a loose dog came onto the caller’s property and killed chickens.
03/24/21 A caller told dispatchers that multiple units at a storage facility in Knox were broken into overnight.
03/24/21 Officers were notified of a trash dumping incident at Fletcher’s Cemetery.
03/25/21 A car vs deer accident was reported in the area of 200 S. and 800 E. in Knox.
03/25/21 A Knox resident told dispatchers that dogs are running loose in the area and have been known to attack the cattle and it’s an ongoing problem. The caller is worried about small children that play in the area.
03/25/21 A Grovetown resident said the elderly neighbor left the gas on inside the house and asked an officer to check on the neighbor. Knox Fire Department assisted. The officer noted in the log that he could smell gas 40 feet from the house. The neighbor was outside at the time.
03/25/21 A North Judson resident said two dogs killed chickens in her yard.
03/25/21 A North Judson told dispatchers that a garage was broken into and drag marks could be seen from behind the residence.
03/26/21 A personal injury traffic accident was reported in the area of 500 S. and 250 W. in North Judson. The car appeared to have collided with a pole.
03/27/21 Hamlet officers and Starke County officers were involved in a pursuit that traveled into Marshall County with the eventual arrest of the subject after a short foot pursuit. A Hamlet officer was injured after a telephone fell on top of the squad car after the suspect ran into it with his car.
03/27/21 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of 100 N. and State Road 23 in Knox.
03/27/21 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of State Road 23 and State Road 10 in Culver.
03/27/21 A Monterey resident reported the theft of a car trailer.
03/27/21 A North Judson resident told police that his vehicle’s windshield was damaged after following a semi.
03/27/21 A caller told dispatchers that man wearing dress clothes was walking down the road and bleeding from the head. Officers were unable to locate the individual.
03/28/21 A property damage accident was reported in the area of 800 S. and 500 W. in North Judson. The caller said the driver was allegedly texting and went off the road.
03/28/21 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of State Road 8 and State Road 39 in North Judson.
