Incidents:
06/28/21 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the area of State Roaf 10 and 750 W. in North Judson.
06/28/21 A semi rollover was reported at the intersection of State Road 23 and U.S. 30 in Grovertown.
06/28/21 A dealer plate was reported either lost or stolen.
06/28/21 A property damage traffic accident was reported in the area of 500 S. and 900 E. in Culver.
06/28/21 A report of a person being bitten by a dog was reported in the North Judson area.
06/29/21 Firefighters from several departments were dispatched to a structure fire in the area of 900E. and 700 N. in Walkerton.
06/29/21 A Knox resident reported the theft of several items from the home.
06/29/21 A two-vehicle property damage accident was reported in the area of U.S. 35 and State Road 10 in Knox.
06/30/21 A Knox resident told police that he let a man drive a vehicle he is selling to check it out and the person did not return the truck.
06/30/21 A Hamlet resident reported the theft of a phone and jewelry.
07/01/21 A Koontz Lake resident complained of a neighbor burning garbage.
07/01/21 A Knox resident said a person broke all of the windows out of his truck.
07/01/21 A car vs deer accident was reported in the Hamlet area.
07/02/21 A Grovertown resident reported that his/her home was broken into with several items stolen.
07/02/21 A check forgery complaint was filed with the Sheriff’s Department.
07/02/21 Knox City Police officers and officers from the Starke County Sheriff’s Department were in pursuit of a person who was reportedly driving a stolen vehicle and he led them through many streets of Knox. The pursuit ended on the grounds of the Knox Elementary School.
07/02/21 A vehicle was found in the ditch in the area of 600 E. and 400 N. in Hamlet.
07/02/21 Police reportedly broke up a large underage drinking party at a residence in Knox. Two females allegedly hit a tree leaving the party. Those reportedly involved hid in tree lines and attempting to get inside a person’s garage to escape police and many were seen up and down the road and in adjacent fields. Juveniles were picked up by their parents and the last of the alcohol was poured out or thrown away.
07/03/21 A Grovertown resident reported the theft of a trailer.
07/03/21 A personal injury accident was reported in the area of State Road 10 and State Road 23 in Culver.
07/03/21 A North Judson resident said something was in the ditch off the roadway that was rolled up and drawing flies. Officers reportedly found it to be a dog’s body wrapped up in a blanket.
07/03/21 A North Judson resident told police that a motorcross bike was stolen out a garage.
07/04/21 A pursuit was initiated in the Hamlet area.
07/04/21 An underage drinking party was reported at a residence in the Knox area.
07/04/21 A propert damage traffic accident was reported in the 200 S. block of U.S. 35 in Knox.
07/04/21 A Knox resident said his/her house was broken into the previous night.
