Incidents:
8/14/17 A resident informed police that a purse was found on Range Road between 300 N. and 400 N. in Knox with drugs inside.
8/14/17 Several construction tools were reported stolen from a garage in Knox.
8/14/17 A Koontz Lake resident reported money stolen from a card at the gas station.
8/17/17 A Knox resident reported the theft of an air compressor.
8/17/17 A Walkerton resident reported the theft of a package from a porch.
8/19/17 A property damage accident was reported at the Grovertown Truck Stop.
8/19/17 A Knox resident requested to speak to an officer in reference to a report of identity theft.
8/19/17 Police were called to a two car accident on U.S. 30 and 750 E. in the eastbound lane.
8/19/17 Police were notified that a syringe filled with liquid was found on the bridge on 800 E. just north of 50 S. in Knox.
8/20/17 A vehicle was found in the ditch on State Road 8 and 800 E. in Knox.
8/20/17 A car vs. tree accident was reported in the 9900 block of E. 600 N. at Koontz Lake.
Arrests:
8/15/17 Matthew Bradley, 31, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, possession of syringe, and possession paraphernalia.
8/15/17 Haley Marshall, 25, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, possession of a syringe, and possession of paraphernalia.
8/16/17 Bradley Scott, 29, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of habitual traffic violator, resisting law enforcement.
8/17/17 Rodger Griffin, 54, of Plymouth, was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of paraphernalia.
8/18/17 Michael Maraszkiewicz, 40, of Schererville, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
8/18/17 Jonathan Baxter, 28, of La Porte, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance and theft.
8/18/17 Anthony Young, 48, of Knox, was arrested on preliminary charges of Habitual Traffic Violator, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, and operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more.
