Incidents:
9/25/17 A Grovertown resident complained of loud music and a strong, bad odor coming in the bedroom window.
9/25/17 A semi driver reported damage to her semi in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 35 in Hamlet.
9/25/17 A Koontz Lake resident reported her wallet stolen.
9/25/17 A resident in the 4300 block of S. 300 E. in Knox reported shots fired in the area.
9/25/17 The sheriff’s office was notified that the caution lights are out at the intersection of State Road 8 and U.S. 35. The state highway department later repaired the problem.
9/26/17 A Bass Lake resident asked for extra patrols in the area as several items were stolen from cars in the past week.
9/26/17 Emergency responders were called to a car accident in the 11500 block of E. State Road 8 in Culver. The car had hit a pole.
9/27/17 A Knox resident reported that a building was entered without permission on 250 S. in Knox.
9/27/17 A Knox resident reported a gun and a car stolen.
9/27/17 A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 5100 block of E. Toto Road. No injuries were reported.
9/27/17 A Bass Lake resident reported the theft of a gun.
9/29/17 A Knox resident told police that he shot and killed two pit bulls on his property for killing his sheep.
9/29/17 A business owner reported a piece of construction equipment was stolen from a worksite.
10/01/17 A Knox resident told police that she found her neighbor going through her vehicle.
10/01/17 Railroad Township Fire Department was called to a camper fire on the river on U.S. 421.
Arrests:
9/27/17 Joseph Givens, 32, of North Judson arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance, operator never licensed.
9/28/17 Rachel Schoolcraft, 39, of Goshen, arrested on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
9/28/17 Dawn Perez, 44, of Winamac, arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
9/29/17 Timothy Sowers, 20, of Plymouth, arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of a controlled substance.
9/30/17 Christopher Hartley, 23, of LaPorte, arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, obstruction of traffic, unlawful possession or use of a legend drug or precursor.
9/30/17 Jason Dickeson, 22, of Grovertown, arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating vehicle while intoxicated with a BAC over .15.
10/01/17 Michael Bleeker, 23, of Lafayette, arrested on a preliminary charge of public intoxication.
