02/19/18 Bethany Lawton, 36, of Plymouth, was reportedly cited for driving while suspended.
02/19/18 A K9 performed a free-air search around a disabled vehicle on U.S. 35 and 250 North in Knox. The vehicle was searched and no items were found inside.
02/20/18 Police were notified of an abandoned extended cab pickup with a toolbox in the back on 700 S. east of 1200 W. in San Pierre. The caller noted that water was halfway up the doors.
02/20/18 A high water report was given on 900 E. between State Road 10 and 625 E. The road was closed.
02/20/18 Police were called to a two-vehicle accident on State Road 8 at the Marshall County Line in the Culver area. Minor injuries were reported.
02/20/18 Indiana Department of Transportation has closed State Road 23 between State Road 8 and State Road 10.
02/20/18 High water was reported on 800 North between 500 E. and 600 E. The road was closed.

02/20/18 Police were called to check on occupants in vehicle that were reportedly run off the road. The vehicle flipped on its side. No injuries were reported.
02/21/18 The Starke County Highway Department closed 850 E. between State Road 10 and 550 S. and 550 S. between 850 E. and 950 E. due to high water.
02/21/18 An investigation into stolen property was given to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office for review and possible charges.

02/21/18 A caller told dispatchers that the remains of a dog were found in a clear plastic bag on the side of the road.
02/21/18 A Plymouth man told police that previous tenants damaged his rental property in Grovertown. He also requested a theft report.
02/22/18 INDOT officials notified the sheriff’s department that the dam/levy was breaking at State Road 8 and State Road 39. They were closing State Road 39 from U.S. 30 to State Road 10. They were also closing State Road8 from U.S. 421 to U.S. 35.
02/22/18 A San Pierre resident told police that a bag containing needles and IVs were found on her property.
02/22/18 A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 2500 block of E. Toto Road in Knox. No injuries were reported.
02/22/18 Police were notified of stolen road closure signs and barricades.
02/22/18 Police responded to a call of a driver who attempted to drive his vehicle through high water on 1100 E. south of 6225 N. in the Koontz Lake area. The attempt was made at a high rate of speed and the vehicle hydroplaned.

02/23/18 State highway employees notified police that drivers are ignoring the barricades on State Road 8 and State Road 39 and getting stuck in the high water
02/2318 A Knox resident called police that four cars are trying to go around the barrier on 500 E. One person did move the barrier but it was put back.

02/24/18 The DNR notified the sheriff’s department that watercraft is being staged in Knox for any needed water rescues.
02/25/18 An accident was reported in the 9100 block of E. State Road 23 and State Road 8 in Knox.
02/25/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on U.S. 35 and 250 N. in Knox.
Arrests:
02/21/18 Britney Kellems, 23, of Fort Wayne, arrested on preliminary charges of driving while suspended and unauthorized control of a motor vehicle.
