Incidents:
03/05/18 A two-vehicle accident occurred near State Road 39 south of State Road 8. One vehicle involved was an INDOT vehicle. No injuries were reported.
03/06/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on 200 S. east of 450 E. in Knox.
03/06/18 Police were notified that a man and woman pulled into a resident’s driveway on U.S. 35 and was looking through her home’s windows. The resident made contact with the woman who stated she left something in the garage. The resident assured the woman that there is nothing in the garage. They then got back into their vehicle and traveled south.
03/06/18 Norfolk Southern railroad officials were called after crossing arms and lights were activated on 200 S. west of State Road 23 but there wasn’t a train.
03/06/18 Police were notified that a person was shining a spotlight on his home on Rosewood Blvd and there was evidence of tampering on his garage.
03/07/18 A caller told the dispatch center that in this rearview mirror he saw a car go off the road on U.S. 35 and rollover north of 250 N. in Knox.
03/07/18 Starke County officers responded to a vehicle rollover on U.S. 35 and 400 N. in Knox.
03/07/18 Police responded to a car vs. fence accident in the 1600 block of N. U.S. 35 in Knox.
03/07/18 A slide-off was reported on U.S. 35 south of 400 N. in Knox.
03/07/18 A slide-off was reported on U.S. 35 north of 100 N. in Knox.
03/07/18 A slide-off was reported on U.S. 35 north of 200 N. in Knox.
03/07/18 Emergency personnel were called to an accident at 480 N. and 300 E. in Knox. A passenger was complaining of neck and back injuries.
03/07/18 A resident told police that unknown subjects broke into his residents and garage and stole items.
03/07/18 Norfolk Southern officials were notified of a railroad crossing arm malfunction at 150 S. and 700 E. in Knox.
03/08/18 Police were called to a single vehicle accident in the 4100 block of N. 900 E. in Grovertown.
03/09/18 Indiana State Police asked for a road crew at State Road 8 and State Road 39 as vehicles keep going around barricades.
03/10/18 A hit and run incident was reported on U.S. 35.
03/10/18 Police were called to 650 S. and 1200 W in San Pierre on a report of a car in the ditch.
03/10/18 Police were notified of car break-ins in North Judson.
03/11/18 The Hamlet Fire Department was called to a fully-engulfed structure fire at N. Starke and Terry Street in Hamlet.

03/06/18 Justin Standafer, 28, of Rochester, arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine.
