05/21/18 A resident on 100 N. in Knox asked for an officer as the neighbor’s German Shepherd is loose and attacking the neighbors while the owner is not at home.

05/22/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on Toto Road, one mile east of U.S. 35 in Knox.
05/22/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported in the 4300 block of north 1200 E. in Grovertown.
05/22/18 A realtor told police that two dogs appear to not be taken care of at a home for sale on 200 N. in Knox.
05/22/18 Residents called police to report an AT&T scam.
05/22/18 Police were asked to assist in removing an unknown person riding the train.

05/25/18 A caller told police that she was almost robbed by a man wearing a mask.
05/25/18 A North Judson resident complained of her neighbor’s dogs running loose and killing chickens.
05/25/18 A four-vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 35 and 300 N. in Knox. There were injuries reported.
05/25/18 A resident notified police that she found two bags at Lerch Cemetery with a strong odor.
05/25/18 A Knox resident advised that a woman in a newer black Ford F150 hit his dog. She did stop to apologize but did not offer to pay or reimburse him for the dog. He wanted to speak to an officer.
05/26/18 A Knox resident told police that she came home to find her house ransacked and items missing.
05/26/18 A Monterey resident reported the theft of an ATV.
05/26/18 A Knox woman asked for police assistance after she found items missing from a house she rented out.
05/26/18 A Knox man told police that the post office shows that his medications were delivered but he doesn’t physically have the package.
05/26/18 A Knox resident said a unknown person(s) took at bat to his vehicle.
05/27/18 A car vs. deer accident was reported on State Road 10 between 1150 E. and 1200 E. in Knox.
05/27/18 A two-vehicle accident with injuries was reported on U.S. 35 and 25 N. in Knox.
05/27/18 An accident was reported on State Road 10 and U.S. 35.
05/27/18 The La Porte County Sheriff’s Department notified Starke County that a reckless driver headed into the county driving a tan suburban is swerving and throwing beer cans at other cars.
05/27/18 A motorcycle vs. truck accident was reported on State Road 8 and U.S. 35 in Knox.
05/27/18 A vehicle was damaged after running over the railroad tracks on 1150 E. in Knox.

05/22/18 Edward Barber, 57, of Chicago, arrested on a felony arrest warrant and preliminary charges of criminal trespass, resisting law enforcement and failure to aid an officer.
05/23/18 Vincent Rossetti, 39, of Knox, arrested on preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia, habitual traffic violator and possession of marijuana.
05/23/18 Alyssa Loftus, 26, of Peru, arrested on an arrest warrant.
05/23/18 Dennis Wireman, 49, of Knox, arrested on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
05/24/18 Gregory Wleklinski, 31, of Valparaiso, arrested on a felony arrest warrant.
05/25/18 Cassidy Stewart, 24, of Valparaiso, arrested on a probation revocation.
