Knox Board of Works Drops Fines on 253 West Locust Drive

The Knox Board of Works has agreed to drop the fines against the owner of 253 West Locust Drive. The property had racked up a total of $900 in fines, due to a number of vehicles and clutter in the yard.

Knox Board of Works to Hold Hearing over 6 North Pearl Street Today

The years-long discussion on a house at 6 North Pearl Street continues this morning with a public hearing before the Knox Board of Works. The board had called for its demolition back in 2016 but later agreed to let the owner try to fix the structural issues.

A Few Items Remain, to Bring 253 West Locust Drive in Knox Up to Code

The owner of 253 West Locust Drive still has some work to do, to bring the property up to code.

Back in July, the Knox Board of Works appeared open to the idea of waiving $900 in fines, if the owner could get the site cleaned up.

Knox Board of Works to Get Updates on Several Properties This Morning

The Knox Board of Works will get updates on code enforcement efforts at a number of properties this morning. The board had previously agreed to waive the fines on 253 West Locust Drive, if the owner could clean up the yard and remove vehicles and trailers by this past Monday.
