Pulaski County officials continue filling vacancies on various boards and commissions. Last week, the county commissioners appointed Jack Olds and Bob Eber to the board of aviation commissioners. Rita Carpenter was appointed to the property tax assessment board of appeals, while Dave Schambers was reappointed.

The list of officials for the Town of Hamlet will largely stay the same in 2020. During the town council’s first meeting of the year Wednesday, Town Marshal Clint Norem, Street Superintendent Kevin Leinbach, and Town Attorney Martin Bedrock were all reappointed. So were Water Operator Jason Cox and Wastewater Operator Jason Clemons.

Pulaski Plan Commission Makes Identical Appointment for Plan Administrator Position
The Pulaski County Advisory Plan Commission has decided to take the step of also appointing a Plan Administrator.
During their meeting Monday night, members of the board made the decision to remove the former Building Inspector/Plan Director at the committee level and, at the same time, appoint Doug Hoover to the job. The decision is an added layer to an identical appointment already made by the Pulaski County Board of Commissioners.

The organization is an electric service provider for rural areas of Indiana and is part of a nationwide alliance of utility service providers.
Winamac Looking to Fill Commission Spots
Winamac is looking for individuals that may have an interest serving in local government.
The Winamac Town Board reorganized itself last week, but on Monday night, found itself looking for residents to fill open slots on the Town’s various commissions.
