The Oregon-Davis School Board welcomed two new members during its annual reorganization meeting Wednesday. Kyle Hinds and Brandie Ecker were sworn into office, along with returning member Chris Lawrence, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.

The Pulaski County Commissioners will make another attempt at choosing a paving contractor when they meet this morning. The county has gotten bids from three companies for hot mix asphalt work on County Road 200 South from U.S. 421 to State Road 39 and County Road 400 East from 200 North to 400 North.
The Eastern Pulaski School Board will continue discussing upcoming asphalt and concrete work tonight. The school corporation is looking to repave most of its parking lots and driveways over the summer, while curbs and sidewalks would be repaired. Tonight, board members are expected to consider the preliminary scope and budget of the work.
