Libraries Celebrate Banned Books Week
Libraries across the country are recognizing books that have previously pushed the limits in the United States.
Banned Books Week takes place between September 27th and October 3rd this year. Celebrating what are often controversial works express what the American Library Association calls the Freedom to Read.

Future of Medaryville Library Uncertain
Low public use and increasing cost averages have prompted the Pulaski County Library Board to consider alternative solutions for the use of its Medaryville branch.
Talks are ongoing to give ownership of the site to the Town of Medaryville. The Library board has presented an offer to the Town, but no decisions have been made.
