A bowl-a-thon is planned for Sunday, April 27 to gather funds for Marshall-Starke Special Olympics.
Coordinator Edie Hastings said this fundraiser helps the not-for-profit volunteer organization provide athletic opportunities for children and adults from Marshall and Starke Counties. Hastings said there are quite a few sports offered throughout the year.
The Starke County Junior Achievement Bowl-a-Thon is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. CT at Bowlaway Lanes in Knox.
This is an annual fundraiser where members of the community and business leaders come together for a night of fun while raising money for a worthwhile youth organization.
The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is back– this time to raise funds for the Junior Achievement programs in Greater Wabash. With a goal of $350 to be raised per team, the money will go toward enabling Junior Achievement to bring choice and values into the classroom.
The Starke-Pulaski Junior Achievement Organization is gearing up for a night of bowling at Bowlaway Lanes in Knox. This is the first of what is hoped to be an annual fund-raising event, and it will be held Wednesday night, February 23rd.
Each County is organizing teams to bowl.
