The Town of North Judson continues to move ahead with its water tower rehabilitation project. The Town Council Monday approved a resolution to submit a planning grant application and commit $3,300 for the town’s share of the project cost. Storm Water Plans Presented to Knox Board of Public Works
The Knox Board of Public Works discussed plans for a storm water system for the new addition to the Knox Elementary School.
Andy Bearman from Commonwealth Engineers said that the addition will create an additional one percent rain-water run-off as a portion of the ground covered with grass will be dug up for the project. That soft area was able to absorb the extra water so it wouldn’t create any water build up anywhere on the property.
Culver Town Board Addresses Residential Water Issues
The Culver Town Council has received several letters from residents of the town notifying them of water issues, and they plan to attach these letters to a grant application to get these problems fixed. Recently, the review committee met with three different engineers in regards to a grant to conduct a water study. Commonwealth Engineers, DLZ, and GAI Consultants were reviewed, and Commonwealth was approved as the engineer if the water study grant is received.
