Starke, Pulaski County Reporting Additional COVID-19 Deaths

The number of COVID-19 deaths in the state continues to climb, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  That information contained another COVID-19 death in Starke County and one additional COVID-19 death in Pulaski County.  That takes the number of deaths in Starke County up to 25 and up to 16 in Pulaski County.  Marshall County has reported a total of 46 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Governor Holcomb Defends Use of Executive Orders in COVID-19 Response

Governor Holcomb is defending his use of executive orders in the fight against COVID-19. “Ultimately, in a public health emergency, whether it’s funding or agency decisions, the buck stops on my desk and that’s my responsibility,” he said during last week’s COVID-19 press conference.

More Local Residents Test Positive for COVID-19 as Statewide Death, Hospitalization Numbers Increase

Another 38 Marshall County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the county’s total to 2,937, according to Tuesday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Starke County had another 16 positive cases for a new total of 906. Another nine Pulaski County residents have tested positive, for a total of 377.
