Nearly 100 New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Tri-County Area

There were another 15,926 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the state from January 1 to January 13, according to Friday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.

Over 120 New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

There were 16,563 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the state from December 31 to January 12 in Thursday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.  That number includes 75 cases in Marshall County, 36 cases in Starke County and 19 cases in Pulaski County.

Another 70 people in the tri-county area have tested positive with COVID-19, including 43 people in Marshall County, 15 people in Pulaski County and 10 people in Starke County.  They are among 11,932 new cases reported in the state in Tuesday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.

Another 10,003 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  That number includes 29 Marshall County residents, 13 Pulaski County residents and eight Starke County residents.

COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters Available to Hoosiers Ages 12-15

The Indiana Department of Health announced Wednesday that residents ages 12-15 are eligible to receive a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, as long as the second shot in the Pfizer vaccine series was administered at least five months ago.
