Now that Pulaski County has a gas-powered ambulance, the EMS Department has to be able to get fuel to run it. The department’s fuel tanks only hold diesel, since that what the ambulances have typically used up until now. EMS Director Brandon DeLorenzo presented a couple of options to the county commissioners Monday.

Starke County Sheriff Offers Lobby As Safe Haven for Transactions
Starke County residents who need to complete an online sales agreement or custody exchange can do so safely 24 hours a day in the lobby of the Starke County Sheriff’s Office or the parking lot in front of the building. Sheriff Bill Dulin stresses this is not an offer for the sheriff’s department to participate in or be part of any business transaction but is a public service aimed at keeping citizens safe. Police Warn of Craigslist Scam
Indiana State Police investigators warn you to be careful when looking for rental properties on Craigslist.
A Plainfield resident answered a Craigslist posting for a rental home in Noblesville. The victim filled out an application form and received an email from Irene Parrish that she is now residing in California and needed the victim to wire $1,900 to her via Moneygram. The money was to cover the $950 in rent for the house and a $950 refundable deposit. The victim wired the money from a CVS store in Noblesville.
