Culver Fall Fest Begins Today
Fall is here and the Town of Culver is ready to celebrate the changing of the season and all of the fun this time of the year has to offer.
The Culver Fall Fest begins today with a special concert by the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band at the corner of Main and Jefferson Streets in the evening. This is the first time the group has played in the area and the first concert since the passing of Tom Petty. Hear these hits as you’ve never have heard them before beginning at 8 p.m. ET tonight.
Culver Fall Fest Begins Oct. 6
The Culver Fall Fest is just around the corner. As a lead-in to the Culver Fall Fest, town wide yard sales begin today and run through tomorrow.
The Fall Fest kicks off Friday, Oct. 6 with a moonlight paddle and s’mores on the beach at 7 p.m. The Tom Petty and the Heartbeakers Tribute Band begins at 8 p.m. Meet and greet the band after the show at 10 p.m.
Bolt for Blessings Fun Run Fundraiser
Culver Community Schools currently assist one-hundred underprivileged students by providing backpacks filled with food to take home on the weekends. This year, during Culver Fall Fest on October 7th, you have the opportunity to help out and work out with the Bolt for Blessings fundraiser.
Annually, it costs around $125,000 to purchase the food and supplies needed. This event serves as the primary source of funding for the Blessings in a Backpack program. The race registration fee costs $15 for students K-12 and general admission is $25. If you register online prior to race day, you have will receive a T-Shirt. Businesses and interested individuals have a chance to be sponsors and have their name appear on the shirts for $150. Continue reading

Efforts to make sure school children receive the proper nutrition continue in the Culver area. Several Culver Elementary School students are getting food to take home over the weekends, when they’re not getting meals at school, thanks to volunteers from Blessings in a Backpack. Continue reading
Culver Fall Fest Resumes This Weekend
Fall is in the air on the shores of Lake Maxinkuckee this weekend. Activities for the third annual Culver Fall Fest include the Art on Display exhibit at the old hardware store building, a pet costume parade, historic walking tour and history hayride. The annual Culver Fall Fest continues today with a full schedule of events. Enjoy the golf cart rodeo at 11 a.m. EDT.
