The Memorial Swinging Bridge Project says Bonnell Grain Handling became its first large donor back in December, with a $3,000 check presentation. The goal is to install the lighting feature in time for the bridge’s centennial on July 4, 2023, when a large rededication ceremony is planned.

A piano and a number of cleaning supplies were among the donations accepted by the Eastern Pulaski School Board last month. Superintendent Dara Chezem told board members that there had been several very generous donations. “Standard Industrial donated over $2,000 worth of items, including washing machine soap, dish soap, floor cleaners, caps for the cafeteria workers,” she said.
