Healthlinc Fair Gets Students Ready for School
An annual health fair will be taking place Friday in Knox with the aim of getting kids ready to return to school.
This is Healthlinc’s 8th “Back to School” health and wellness fair – which will provide students with basic school supplies and backpacks, but also provide them with sports physicals and immunization opportunities.

WoodStarke Festival Planned Tomorrow in Knox
The inaugural WoodStarke Festival at Wythogan Park in Knox promises a day full of healthy, family fun. A group of volunteers has put together a slate of activities. They will be set to a background of music by local, original bands from genres ranging from bluegrass and bagpipes to hard rock. Organizers of next weekend’s WoodStarke Festival at Wythogan Park in Knox are looking for vendors for the farmer’s market and artists who would like to display their wares. HealthLinc to Hold Back to School Health and Wellness Fair
With the start of the school year less than a month away, many physically active students are in need of sports physicals before they can get in the game, and all students need to be sure they are up-to-date on their immunizations. Fortunately, HealthLinc will soon be holding their Back to School Health and Wellness Fair on Friday, Aug. 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Free Dental Services to be Offered to Children Feb. 18
Monday, Feb. 18 is American Dental Association’s “Give Kids a Smile” Day and HealthLinc will be participating in offering free dental services to uninsured children 18 years old and younger.
HealthLinc’s dental professionals will be giving free exams, cleanings, sealants and education at the Valparaiso and Michigan City sites. Those from Knox who would like to schedule an appointment can do so at either location. If you have Medicaid and other insurance coverage, you should call and ask about other appointment options.

Back to School Health and Wellness Fair Set For Aug. 1
Healthlinc, Inc. will be hosting the third annual Back to School Health and Wellness Fair on Wednesday, August 1 from 3 to 6 p.m. CT at the Knox Healthlinc Clinic, located at 104 E. Culver Road.
During this event, donated backpacks and supplies will be given to school-aged children, immunizations will be provided, and sports physicals will be available for uninsured and under-insured children. Other information and entertainment will also be offered.
Back to School Health and Wellness Fair set for August 4th
Senator Dick Lugar and the staff at Healthlinc in Knox are partnering to present the 2nd Annual Back to School Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, August 4th. The event will be held at the Healthlinc office at 104 E. Culver Road in Knox from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
