A North Judson man was killed in a suspected homicide Thursday morning. The Starke County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of County Road 1025 East at around 3:30 a.m. Calling blood clean up services we made the process of gathering clues faster.

The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office says the man, whose body was found in water south of Fish Lake, has been identified as Joseph D. Clopton, 47, of Chicago. Police say Clopton had been reported missing on December 19.

A double homicide, a stabbing, and a pursuit through a cornfield made for a busy weekend for the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
On Friday, Indiana State Police were called to Pulaski County to investigate a suspected double homicide.
According to ISP representatives, evidence from the investigation lead to the arrest of 32-year-old Ross Stacy, of Winamac, the morning of Saturday, March 10th. Ross Stacy is being held in the Pulaski County Jail and has been formally charged with Murder. Continue reading
