Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services is upgrading some of its training technology and also adding Medical Facilities Management Software. The county commissioners Monday approved the purchase of the iSimulate system at a discounted price of $8,000, at the request of EMS Director Bryan Corn.
Felony Charges Filed Against Former Pulaski County EMS Director
Former Pulaski County EMS Director Nikki Lowry has been charged with six felonies, amid allegations that she stole more than $12,000 in department training funds. Lowry was fired from the EMS Department last November, following an investigation into the complaints.
Pulaski County EMS Director Proposes Adding Training Program Finances into Department Budget
Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services is taking steps to formalize the finances of its training program. During a public hearing on the county’s 2019 budget last week, EMS Director Bryan Corn told the county council that his department is certified to offer emergency medical technician classes. But he said the training program’s finances haven’t been tracked properly.
