Ora Man Arrested Following Pulaski County Pursuit

Formal charges are pending against an Ora man who fled from Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies on a 4-wheeler yesterday afternoon. The incident started around 4:30 p.m. in the area of 500 North west of U.S. 35 in Pulaski County when deputy tried to stop the ATV, driven by 43-year-old James Hurt of Ora. He took off and later crashed the 4-wheeler in the area of 100 West and 600 North in Pulaski County, where he took off on foot. Continue reading

Two Arrested After Chase in Knox

 
 
A Knox man and a Winamac woman were arrested Friday after a brief chase incident in Knox.

The officer with the Knox City Police Department was following a vehicle that was traveling 62 mph in a 45 mph zone. The officer continued to follow the vehicle through the area and caught up to the driver who was now traveling 90 mph. The driver then entered the intersection 250 South and 250 East and blew through the stop sign. The officer allegedly saw the occupants throw items from the windows. After traveling a distance and blowing through a few more stop signs, the driver finally stopped on 500 South, a half-mile from U.S. 35.

Three Theft Arrests Reported In Plymouth

Plymouth police officers arrested three people for theft on Tuesday in three different incidents.

Matthew S. Bradley of Knox was arrested after Dollar General employees reported a theft at the store. The employees gave police a description of his vehicle and the vehicle was found in the Walgreens parking lot. The officer reportedly found a knife and packaging next to him in the vehicle. Bradley was arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft.
