Knox Mayor Dennis Estok told city council members Tuesday night that this year’s Fourth of July event was a major success.
During the Mayor’s report, Estok told members that this was the most attended Independence Day celebration in recent years and estimated that between 4,000 and 5,000 people participated in the festivities. Continue reading
Knox Mayor Dennis Estok is searching for community members who want to help out with this year’s special city events.
The first 2018 meeting of the Knox Event Planning Committee will be held tonight at 6 p.m. in the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center. Mayor Estok said the meeting is open to the public and anyone looking to get more involved in the community is asked to come. Continue reading
A committee meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4 at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center. During a Knox City Council meeting Tuesday evening, Mayor Dennis Estok reminded council members that the focus would be on some past and future projects.
Estok said the committee will discuss the financial results of this year’s fireworks display as well as address the upcoming Peppermint Parade. Estok said the parade applications have already been submitted for the event. Continue reading
