The Pulaski County Commissioners have decided to hold off on upgrades to the county’s email system, until office holders have a chance to learn more about the proposed changes. A Knox gun shop plans to move to Star City, thanks to some financial help from Pulaski County. The county commissioners Monday approved a $19,500 revolving loan request from G&G Guns. “He has a purchase agreement on the former LightStream Bank building in Star City, moving the gun business from his storefront on U.S. 35 in Knox,” Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer explained. Pulaski County Looks to Enhance IT Recommendations for Technology Billing
Pulaski County continues its overview of certain technology operations at its facilities.
During Tuesday night’s County Commissioner’s meeting, a hurdle in that process was addressed. Pulaski County’s internet service operates under an umbrella overseen by the IT department, but decisions about bills from the service provider were disallowed from being scrutinized for future recommendation by the IT department under agreement.
