On Monday, Jan. 8, officers stopped 29-year-old Wayne Austin Hardesty, of Grovertown, who was reportedly speeding and found that he had an active warrant for two counts of dealing in a schedule III drug. He was booked in the Marshall County Jail on those charges with a cash bond of $10,005.
A Marshall County narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a Culver woman Tuesday night. Officers with the Marshall County Police Department and the Marshall County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 11:40 p.m., at a home in the 16,000 block of 15B Road. Police say they found methamphetamine and paraphernalia in the home.
A tip from the Marshall County Drug Task Force led to a traffic stop in the county that turned up methamphetamine and marijuana inside a vehicle.
On Tuesday, an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after the officer witnessed the driver commit a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Otis Young, was accompanied by a female passenger.
