Medaryville Town Council to Discuss Mowing Ordinance Compliance Tonight
The town of Medaryville’s mowing ordinance is once again up for discussion as the town council will meet tonight to discuss a resident’s compliance issues. Resident Brian Capouch previously claimed that the town failed to inform him specifically of what his violations were and also asserted that the town’s ordinance was defective and in violation of state code.
Medaryville Council to Discuss Mowing Ordinance
The Medaryville Town Council has a hot topic on their agenda this week as they plan to discuss the town’s mowing ordinance. The ordinance currently requires property owners to maintain their properties and ensure their weeds and grass are cut below five inches for the remainder of the season. The ordinance is enforced, and while it brought some uproar in the beginning, town council member Derrick Stalbaum said the ordinance just common sense.
North Judson Town Board Discusses Pool Fills, Mowing Ordinance
The North Judson Town Board members discussed pool fills at their recent meeting. The Board approved the action of pool fills but an ordinance will be constructed to outline the fees. The Board approved the fee of $.03 a gallon for water and $.80 a mile for fuel. A credit card will also need to be provided to ensure payment. A bill will not be sent.
