Pulaski County officials are considering ways to continue offering Household Hazardous Waste Days. Last month, Recycling & Transfer Station Manager Brad Bonnell said he was thinking about discontinuing the annual event. That was due to the fact that the Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District will no longer offer extra tire pickup as part its Hazardous Waste Days.
Future of Pulaski County Household Hazardous Waste Day in Doubt
Pulaski County’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Day may not be returning next year. That’s according to Pulaski County Recycling & Transfer Station Manager Brad Bonnell. He told the county commissioners Monday that last month’s event was “somewhat successful,” but changes at the Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District may put its future in jeopardy.
Pulaski County Household Hazardous Waste Day Tomorrow
Pulaski County residents can get rid of tires and household hazardous waste tomorrow morning. The Northwest Indiana Solid Waste District is hosting a collection event from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Pulaski County Recycling and Transfer Station in Winamac.
