Firefighters from several area fire departments were called to a large structure fire in San Pierre Monday night.
Firefighters from several departments told the Starke County Commissioners on Monday night that they continue to have problems with radio communication.
Firefighters fought a fire at American Oak in North Judson shortly after 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
The recently established Railroad Township Fire Department can now communicate with the Starke County Dispatch Center and other emergency agencies.
