The Knox Community School Board has announced it will be holding a meeting this upcoming Monday, April 6th.
The meeting will begin at 6pm Central Time and will take place at the Knox Schools Administrative Office.
After the meeting is called to order, and the pledge of allegiance and mission statement are recited, the board will vote on the adoption of the agenda as well as the minutes from its March 2nd executive session and regular board meeting.
The Board will receive a director’s report and updates from each building’s principal. There will be a section of the meeting for public comments on agenda items.
The Personnel report will review 3 resignations, an FMLA request, and one termination. 5 new hires will be considered, including for an interim assistant principal at the high school who will then become the Associate Middle School Principal after this school year.
Under the Business section of the agenda, the board will hear reports from the treasurer including Vendor Usage Reports. It will review claims and receive an update on the upcoming construction project.
The Board will vote on the acceptance of two donations, a field trip request, a fundraiser request, and a furniture purchase. An educational field trip request will also be considered.
After comments or questions from administrators and the board, as well as public comments on non-agenda items, the meeting will be adjourned.
