Local Schools Among Recipients of Secured School Safety Grants
Indiana has awarded more than $19 million in this year’s round of Secured School Safety Grants. The Culver Community Schools Corporation got the biggest share of that locally, with $100,000. The West Central School Corporation got $40,000.

Local Corporations Receive Secured School Safety Grants
Several area school corporations are recipients of Secured School Safety Grant funds from the state. The program provides matching funds to school corporations to conduct a threat assessment, purchase equipment or restrict access to the school or expedite notice to first responders to hire a school resource officer.
