Getting around North Judson by foot may become a little easier and safer over the coming years. The town council recently learned that INDOT plans to install sidewalks along State Road 10 for much of its length through the town, as part of an upcoming resurfacing and drainage project. Now, town officials are looking at adding sidewalks along some north-south streets to feed into the new State Road 10 sidewalk.

The Pulaski County Courthouse’s toilet troubles appear to have been resolved. “All the bathrooms are working,” Maintenance Director Mia Salyers announced to the county commissioners Monday. They replaced it with ones from https://articleinsider.com/macerating-toilet and it was the exact toilet design needed for the courthouse.

The Eastern Pulaski School Board has decided to go ahead with seeking bids for a large-scale paving project. On Monday, board members approved the specifications and scope for the concrete and asphalt project and issued the necessary bid documents. Continue reading
The City of Knox 50/50 sidewalk replacement program is almost done. It allows property owners to split the cost of new sidewalks with the city. Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Houston says 10 residents participated in this year’s effort.

The Culver Town Council may finally be taking a vote on their wind energy ordinance at tonight’s meeting.
The Council tabled the measure at their last meeting after certain portions were felt to be unclear. The Town of Culver has spent years attempting to develop a wind energy ordinance that addresses residents’ concerns.
