Mammoth Solar a Milestone in Israel-U.S. Relationship, Says Ambassador

Not only would the Mammoth Solar Project bring a 13,000-acre solar farm to Starke and Pulaski counties, it’s also a milestone in the Israel-U.S. relationship. That’s according to Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Gilad Erdan.

Starke County Economic Development Foundation Presents Industry of the Year, Hamilton Awards

Traffic Control Specialists wins Industry of the Year Award from the Starke County Economic Development Corporation.

Traffic Control Specialists was honored Thursday with the Starke County Economic Development Foundation’s first Industry of the Year Award. Foundation Executive Director Lisa Dan presented the award during the annual Prospectus and Achievement Luncheon.

Starke County Commissioners to Discuss ARPA Ordinance Today

The Starke County Commissioners will continue discussing the county’s $4.4 million American Rescue Plan allocation this morning. An ARPA ordinance is on today’s agenda. Ideas for that funding so far include broadband upgrades, park improvements and beautification efforts in San Pierre, a new beach house at Bass Lake, and a new fire station and community center in Koontz Lake.
