The annual delinquent property tax sale was held on Thursday, October 1 in Starke County, conducted by SRI Incorporated on behalf of County Auditor Rachel Oesterreich and County Treasurer Kay Chaffins, with the assistance of SRI where 125 parcels were offered to 32 bidders.

Pulaski County’s upcoming tax lien sale has been moved online, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pulaski County Treasurer’s Office says the public auction will be held as an electronic sale on Wednesday, September 2, starting at 9:00 a.m. EDT, with the properties closing at 3:00 p.m.

The Starke County Commissioners have scheduled a certificate sale for Monday, Feb. 17, 2015 to rid the county of properties not sold at tax sale. Treasurer Kasey Clark will review the list of properties with county attorney Marty Lucas prior to placing the advertisements. The Spring Tax Sale held last week brought in over $800,000, according to Starke County Interim Treasurer Kasey Clark. In all, 54 properties were sold, including a quarter-million-dollar home and property at Bass Lake.
Next up will be a certificate sale, followed by a Fall Tax Sale.
