Knox Plan Commission Recommends Industrial Park Zoning Change
The Knox City Planning Commission recommends the rezoning of 16 acres of land in the Knox Industrial Park from residential to light manufacturing to accommodate a proposed business expansion. Planning Commission President Jeff Berg says the existing Traffic Control Specialists, Inc. facility on 300 South/Klockner Drive is bursting at the seams. He says they want to expand into a new building at the corner of Pacific Avenue/50 South and 250 East. Continue reading
Zoning Hearing Set for Industrial Park Property
The Knox Planning Commission will conduct a hearing this evening on a zoning request for a parcel of property in the Knox Industrial Park. Traffic Control Specialists wants to build a new facility on 16 acres of land at the corner of 250 East and 50 South/Pacific Avenue. The land is currently zoned residential and must be rezoned to Mechanical/M1 in order to establish an economic revitalization area at the corner.
