While many events are being canceled, plans for Hamlet’s Yellowstone Trail Festival are still moving ahead. The Hamlet Town Council got an update last week. This year’s festival will include a fireworks display on Saturday, August 15, following the parade.

School lunches at Oregon-Davis may soon include fresh vegetables grown in the high school’s greenhouse. Agriculture Teacher and FFA Adviser Andrew Carlin told the school board last week that the greenhouse was started last spring, thanks to a grant the school received.
The Yellowstone Trail Festival continues today and tomorrow in Hamlet. Musical entertainment, circus performances, and a family magic show will be featured at the Starke County Fairgrounds.
