Pulaski County Election Board Reviews Provisional Ballots

The Pulaski County Election Board members reviewed 10 provisional ballots when they met last week.

Clerk JoLynn Behny told WKVI News that five provisional ballots were accepted. None of the counted ballots changed the outcome of any race on the ballot.

There were five provisional ballots that were rejected. Three ballots were rejected as the voters were not registered to vote. Those ballots were cast on Election Day. Another was rejected as there were no bi-partisan initials on the ballot that was cast on Election Day. One mail-in absentee ballot was rejected as the signatures did not match.

The board then went on to certify the election with the necessary reports that are filed with the state.
