Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Conducting Investigation

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a call for assistance for an unresponsive 50-year-old man Sunday, June 23.

According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the man was unresponsive in the yard next to a trailer. Pulaski County EMS rendered additional medical aid to the man who was later transferred to a regional hospital for treatment. The victim later succumbed to his injuries at a Lake County hospital, according to the report.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing and the victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification.

Additionally, police say as officers were assisting with the medical call for service, officers located controlled substances and a wanted subject at the scene. Officers arrested Mark Conley and Amanda Hedden from the residence in Medaryville for multiple local charges including drug possession, battery against a public safety official, intimidation, and criminal mischief, as well as out-of-county warrants.

More information concerning this investigation will be released as it becomes available.

Formal charges will be determined by the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
