In light of that, the club is now reaching out to residents to help support the fireworks show. Costs continue to rise for fireworks and other necessities for the event, and the Kiwanis Club will soon be holding a fundraiser to support the show. On Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. ET, members will be selling rib and chicken meals at the NAPA parking lot in Winamac.
This fundraiser is an opportunity for the community to do their part in ensuring the fireworks tradition is kept and goes a long way in cementing it as an annual event.
For more information on the fundraiser, contact Kiwanis member John Frain at (574) 946-3222. For those interested in being a club sponsor, contact Bryce Brumm via email at bryce@standardinc.net.
