Donations Given to Starke County Food Pantry

A business and an organization in Starke County recently made generous donations to the Starke County Community Services Food pantry. The Bass Lake Lions Club donated $500 to the pantry for necessary items. They are regular donors to the pantry.

In a promotion, Economy Auto Sales donated cash and food to the facility. Economy Auto Sales matched donations to give a total of $1,243 to the food pantry. 54 pounds of food was delivered to the pantry to assist families in Starke County. Rhonda Overmyer who oversees operations at the food pantry said help is needed all year round and these donations are greatly appreciated.
