Voter Registration Ends Today, Public Test of Voting Machines Today

Today is the last day to register to vote in the May 6 Primary Election.

One way to register is to go online and visit www.IndianaVoters.com. If you go online to register, you need to have a valid Indiana Driver’s License Number or Indiana State Identification number handy in order to complete the online registration.

If you are registered to vote but you need to update your name, address or other pertinent information, you may also do that online.

If registering online isn’t the best option for you, register to vote at a local county voter registration office, at a Bureau of Motor Vehicles License Branch or at any National Voter Registration Act full service agency.

Those wishing to vote in the May Primary must be U.S. citizens who will be at least 18 by May 6 and who have lived in their precinct for at least 30 days prior to the election.

Starke County Election Board members will have a Microvote machine ready for you to practice vote today on the second floor of the Starke County Courthouse at 10 a.m.
