Culver Community Schools received the highest honor that the Indiana Department of Education offers for their 2013/14 school year. Recently the school received an unexpected letter from director of accreditation at the IDOE. He informed them that the IT department discovered a mistake in how the calculations were made to determine the list of four star schools. An error was made when calculating the math ECA scores. The letter went on to say Culver Community Schools should have been included in the original list of recognized schools. It’s unfortunate that it took so long for the correct statistics to surface, however in the end, the Culver Community Schools and staff members received their acknowledgement as one of the higher performing schools in the state of Indiana.
