Members of the Oregon-Davis Future Farmers of America chapter are heading to state next month. All eight students who took part in the Area X Crops Judging/Forestry/Entomology CDE at at Plymouth High School on Monday qualified to advance to the state-level competition at Purdue on Saturday, Dec. 13.
The competing teams/members, and their finishing places are as follows (grade in parentheses):
Dalton Good (12th) – 1st place in Forestry CDE, Individual Competition.
Becky Pucel, Emily Niles, Shyanna Saylor (all 8th) – 2nd place in Crops Judging, Junior Team Division Competition.
Delaney Shively (12th), Amanda Niles (11th), Bobby Pucel (10th), Audrey Crawford (9th) – 5th place in Crops Judging, Senior Division Team Competition.
