A group of eighth graders at Oregon-Davis is forming a new organization to help improve the community.
SWAG, or Students Who Achieve Greatness, was approved by the school board at last Monday’s meeting. The students plan to help out with tasks such as raking leaves.
People in the Hamlet, Grovertown, and Koontz Lake areas who would like the students’ assistance can contact the group’s sponsor, Jim Ash.
